About Products

For Carbon Fiber versions, minimum vertical 50kgs (110lbs)
For 7075 Aviation Aluminum Alloy versions, minimum vertical 100kgs (220lbs)

The reason of why we design trekking poles this way, is that when you are encountering the most extreme situation of breaking your support sections, you can easily remove your handle bar and connect it with some other materials such as: wood sticks/iron pipe etc. And you can physically tighten the material for further use, makes sure that you have a firm grip of the handle.

The double-layer fabric includes a cotton layer and a polypropylene (PP) fiber layer. The inner cotton layer offers quick moisture absorption and a comfortable feel. The outer polypropylene layer provides multiple benefits, including lightweight, abrasion resistance, high strength, great flexibility, chemical resistance, and most importantly, hydrophobicity, which prevents water absorption, making it resistant to moisture and quick-drying.

CARBON FIBER
Lightweight: Carbon fiber is significantly lighter than aluminum, making it ideal for those who prioritize weight reduction.
Vibration absorption: It absorbs vibrations effectively, providing a more comfortable hiking experience.
Stiffness: Offers excellent stiffness, providing stability and support.

7075 ALUMINUM ALLOY
Durability: Known for its strength and durability, making it suitable for rugged terrain and heavy loads.
Cost-effective: Generally more affordable than carbon fiber.
Temperature tolerance: Performs well in various temperature conditions.

It primarily depends on the terrain you'll be facing and how extreme the conditions will be.

For hybrid terrain, where efficiency and convenience plays the main role, and you need to prevent the pole from getting tangled in vegetation and you need to be able to quickly stow the poles to free up your hands, we recommend folding trekking poles.

For open terrain, where you'll be using them for long periods over long distances, telescoping poles are a good choice. If you're facing more extreme and harsh conditions with intense use, we recommend fully external-locking telescoping poles. This three-section design is more stable with less component parts, and the external locks make it easier to inspect for wear and tear.

Yes, especially when carrying a heavy load over long distances for extended periods, relying solely on our legs for support can easily lead to fatigue and joint damage. Although proper walking technique can minimize muscle and joint injuries, using trekking poles is like walking on four limbs. This can transfer 20-30% of your body weight to your upper body, effectively reducing the load on your lower limbs and preventing excessive wear and tear or injuries caused by loss of balance, conserve your energy. It makes hiking and mountaineering easier.

Sure, that's a personal preference. For very short trips, using a single pole is fine. However, for long-distance hikes and when carrying a heavy load, a single pole won't be able to balance your body weight as effectively. This can lead to an imbalance in your center of gravity, affecting your gait and how your body distributes weight.

The most important thing before use is to tighten the metal knobs as much as possible and securely lock the metal lever to prevent slippage. During use, pay attention to the length adjustment. When your arm forms a 90-degree angle with the trekking pole, it's the most energy-efficient position. Additionally, you can adjust the length based on whether you're going uphill, downhill, or on a slope. For example, when going uphill, you can quickly shorten the poles to avoid overextending your arms, providing better support and balance.

DO NOT LUBRICATE ANY PART!!! Except the tungsten steel tip. Just simple wipe off dust and dirt using clean cloth or napkin.

Generally, you can easily adjust the length by subtracting 50-55cm (20-22 inches) from your height. Example: [A 180cm (71-inch) tall guy] - [50-55cm (20-22 inches)] = [125-130cm (49-51 inches)]
However, it's best to experiment and find the length that feels most comfortable and supports your posture.
